Double Wall Construction with a 3/8” air space between inner and outer pipes provides superior insulating value to single wall pipe. Better insulating value keeps flue gas temperatures higher. This helps your woodstove perform with an enhanced draft, which provides:

It is designed to be the easiest to assemble direct vent available. EXCELDirect® has the industry’s first flared casing design for simple push together assembly. Pushing two pieces together completely seals the joint and three self tapping screws solidify the assembly.
It also has a laser welded inner flue made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is very resistant to corrosion and sturdy enough to remain round under distress. This ensures that when two lengths are assembled they are completely sealed, unlike aluminum which can easily get out of round and will then leak.
The outer casing of our painted lengths is constructed of satin coat steel. Satin coat is attractive and durable when painted.

EXCELDirect® non-painted lengths have a laser welded galvalume steel outer casing. The primary applications for galvalume are automotive and metal building cladding. It is much more corrosion resistant than galvanized and is designed to be easily painted.
Thanks to the push together assembly of EXCELDirect®, there are no unsightly tabs or markings on the exterior. When a system is assembled, it is smooth by design and very aesthetically pleasing.

EXCELDirect Power Vent is the essential solution to pressurized direct vent systems. Ideal for direct vent appliances with a power termination or an in-line fan. It is listed to a 550° F (288°C) temperature rating, while other brands are listed at 400°F (204.4°C). The positive seal is achieved with the high temperature silicone gasket on the inside and an O-ring for the outer pipe. Which means it has the tightest seals on the market.
The 3/5 pipe fits easier in tight spaces. Locking bands make the pipe rigid after installation and no twist lock means you can adjust the fitting to meet your installation requirements. No taping joints, no lubricants on the pipe and no sealants are required. Just fast, easy, clean assembly.
